Life and Work Grew up in the Nauheim, initially learned recorder, began clarinet lessons at the age of ten, and saxophone lessons from the age of seventeen. As a student of Immanuel Kant school in Rüsselsheim , he played in the school band, and then in the ICS Big Band. From 1986 to 1997 he studied classical clarinet at the music academies of Mannheim and Cologne, also from 1992, jazz saxophone in Cologne.
