Noistruct is the primary project of veteran West Australian born electronic producer, promoter and former radio show host Boris Otterdam. Producing mostly dark and abrasive electronic styles such as breakcore, IDM, industrial hardcore, d-jungle, abstract hip hop and dark drum n bass. Originally beginning in Perth in 1998 as a solo and then two piece noise project with Peter Polmeartagami, before going solo again in 2001 and expanding to more digitally produced, hardcore techno and breakcore influenced styles. It was the fifth out of five EPs he recorded with the hope of being signed by a record label. Sheeran wanted each song to act as a musical and tried to avoid lyrics about women.
