This is SO good. Vinyl Jaar weaving in and out of highs and lows and taking you on a journey through musical landscapes. Pure bliss, musically and sonically it's a 10. I do agree with others that the packaging leaves much to be desired, which is unfortunate.

I also could not resist to get this release with the three unreleased (on vinyl) tracks besides the singles, i already own. I did a comparison of the soundquality of single vs. this compilation with headphones (two same turntables with the same cartridges on one mixer and R&S did a very good job, although the singles have slightly more clean trebles - well the singles are mostly cut on 45rpm, thats why, i guess.. Ironically the most obvious difference is on the track "Swim", which is cut on 33rpm on the single too. The hihat on the single has noticable more treble, than on the R&S issue.. Anyway.. Up to that point, i still recommend this R&S package! But then, theres the track "Mistress". A calm piano track. But on the R&S issue (of course, its the same song), there are a lot of crackle/sparkle sounds here and there, which Nicolas Jaar often uses in his songs and easily can be confused with pressing issues or groove defects! I am confused. Is the cutting / mastering / pressing shit? Is just my copy partially shit? Or.. Is it a crackle-remix? ;-) Really hard to say, as the next tune on the same side "Fight" also has crackling sounds, but it's identical to the digital file, i compared it with - not so with "Mistress". The tune on the 12" sounds just clean! And finally, i also have some complaints about the packaging. Although i really like the artwork overall, the sleeves are... flimsy. Especially the coloured inner sleeves already get crinkles only from looking at them. One of my inner sleeves already looked like crinkle-hell from beginning. Oh and i also got some black ringwear from a label on one outer sleeve.. By the way - my copy was sealed.Sorry.. So much blabla.. I still think, it's awesome, that finally, there is a nearly complete Nymphs-Package available on vinyl - yeah "nearly", because on "Nicolas Jaar TRANSITION (Boiler Room Aviv RIP DJ set)", theres still a yet not available Nymphs track (A Coin In Nine Hands (Nymphs VI)) listed in the tracklist ;-) So long.. Again.. Awesome package (still) and i hope, that i only had bad luck with my copy. I will try to replace it.

agreed with the packaging. as soon as I got it I swapped out the sleeves for some rice paper sleeves and put them in a fresh outer jacket. storing everything separately and hoping to keep things from getting banged up too much in the future.

Aah! Thanks for that info! I have Sirens on vinyl, but that digital deluxe version came one year after its initial release. Thats why i didn't know. And a little bit annoying to see a same album released again with some different tracks..

Hmm, it's odd that A Coin In Nine Hands is listed as a Nymphs VI release as it's been released on the digital version of Sirens (Deluxe). Guess it would be nice for it to see a vinyl release though

I think this release sound great and I probably wouldn't own the Nymphs tracks on this format if they had not done a compilation. I think the packaging is a bit underwhelming for me. I was expecting more of a gatefol/trifold sleeve but instead you have single sleeves (which all look a like) that are then shrink wrapped together. Holding the individual sleeves closed is a slightly annoying sticker.
