Info

The Eye of Every Storm is the eighth studio album from the Californian band Neurosis. Tracklist: 00:01 Burn 07:07 No River To Take Me Home 15:50 The. Every song on 'The Eye of Every Storm is so beautiful and engaging that its hard to know where to start discussing them. Album opener Burn is the most brisk of the tracks here, but still sparse and melodic enough to mirror the pastoral images of sunlight and warm air contained in the lyrics. The key to the album might be found halfway through Burn : when the guitars briefly crash in, they draw more attention to the synth-and-voice tenderness. It retains the strong folk music influences prominent on the band's previous album A Sun that Never Sets, while exploring their trudging and massive sound with a more dynamic approach closer to post-rock than their earlier work. Steve Von Till : vocals, guitar, filtered and textured sounds. Scott Kelly : vocals, guitar. Songs in album Neurosis - The Eye Of Every Storm 2004. Neurosis - Burn. Listen free to Neurosis The Eye of Every Storm Burn, No River to Take Me Home and more. 8 tracks 68:53. Band Name Neurosis USA. Album Name The Eye of Every Storm. Type Album. Released date 29 June 2004. Yet Neurosis have smoothed out the edges of their sound by incorporating much more of the post rock aesthetic than what they have previously employed. The post rock elements come about in an overall cleaner sound. The production is crystal clear with each instrument having a significant amount of clarity. Album 2004 8 Songs. Try it every storm has an eye, Neurosis' latest psychic thunderclap must follow suit. They just neglected to commit it to tape. It's not that there aren't quiet parts it's that even in their midst, there's no sense of diffused tension. If there is an eye to this storm, it can only be the hole in the center of the CD- undeniably there, but gallingly inaccessible and remote. Review Summary: Neurosis takes a step in a more natural direction using ambience to cloak their heaviness. What is The Eye of Every Storm supposed to mean anyways Does it take on the literal meaning of the eye of a hurricane an eerie calm that prevails after the first part of a hurricane passes over, lasting for an hour before the storm builds momentum again Or does Neurosiss 8th official studio album use the name as a metaphor for something larger
