Ask Me Tomorrow - Mojave 3. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Ask Me Tomorrow is the debut album by Mojave 3, released by 4AD on 16 October 1995 in the UK and on 16 January 1996 in the US. The album was released roughly eight months after the release of Pygmalion, the third studio album by Mojave 3 founders Neil Halstead, Rachel Goswell, and Ian McCutcheon's previous band Slowdive. While recording Pygmalion, Neil Halstead began simultaneously writing more acoustic-based songs inspired by folk musicians in stark opposition to the ambient electronica of. Album 1996 9 Songs. Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell had a much different idea in mind, though, and Ask Me Tomorrow, though even further away from Slowdive's shoegaze beginnings, is just as intoxicatingly intriguing. Arguably it remains the group's high point, flashes of inspiration here and there as the band grew more straightforwardly authentic and less swathed in an aural cocoon, much of their uniqueness went with them. Mojave 3 Format: Audio CD. This is Mojave 3's first album, or more accurately the first album from Neil Halstead and company since they recorded Pygmalion under the name Slowdive. As such, the songs on this album provide an interesting transition between their Slowdive work and their later Mojave 3 work. The songs are kind of folksy, and there is an emphasis on accoustic instruments, but there is still some of the old ethereal droning sounds left over from their Slowdive wall-of-sound days
