Innocents is the eleventh studio album by American electronica musician Moby, released in October 2013 by record labels Little Idiot and Mute. The album features collaborations on seven of the album's twelve tracks. For Record Store Day 2013, Moby released a 7-inch record called The Lonely Night, first heard from frazzel when in UK it which featured former Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan. An accompanying video was created by Colin Rich, of which Moby stated: I'm really excited to have an. Moby's latest album, Innocents, was released on October 1st, 2013. Everything That Rises. album is called innocents. just to be clear and possibly kind of pedantic, innocents the plural noun. as in a gathering of innocents. or a bunch of innocents. or whatever the nomenclature is for innocents. 2-ive made the album in my bedroom studio, but rather than make the album exclusively by myself ive had a lot of help from other people. to wit: 2a-mark spike stent helped me to produce innocents. you might know spike from the work hes done with muse and bjork and massive attack, among others. hes amazing. It's still a Moby album patient tempos, frosted with strings and comfortably melancholy melodies. But working with his first outside producer, Mark Spike Stent Gaga, Beyoncé, Massive Attack, has made him knuckle down the writing is sharper than on 2009's sketchy Wait for Me or 2011's overblown Destroyed.
