Whether this was an attempt to entice him to remain with the band, or simply intended to acknowledge his distinctive tones is unclear. What is clear is that his vocals are undoubtedly a highlight of the album. Thomson actually left the band in 1979, but continued to record and tour with them until this album was released in 1986. Grillador
Much more in the 80s vein of pop rock but there are a few good tracks like Killer on the Loose and Underground. Lots of those lovely 1980s synths and drum machines I swear I think its an 808 and a Linndrum nevertheless the music has 80s production and is less progressive rock and more melodic hook based music. Chris Thompson's vocals and John Giblin's bass playing really give the weak tunes a more solid foundation. Not terrible but not the bands best work by a stretch!

If you're looking for prog, then forget it; if, however, you want expert musicianship with a crisp sound and some great tunes then this is an album to add to your collection. I remember being disappointed by this release back in 1986, but now I appreciate it for what it is - another well-produced MM album of covers and newer, shorter tunes.Hardly essential.
