Magnum II is the eponymous second studio album by the English rock band Magnum. It was released in 1979 on Jet Records. Magnum II followed on from the success of Magnum's debut album, Kingdom of Madness. Recorded with former-Ten Years After bass player Leo Lyons, who had success with producing Phenomenon, Force It and No Heavy Petting for UFO. The first vinyl Magnum album I ever bought back in '79. Magic stuff. Yes perhaps dated, but still love the songs nonetheless. This has all the truly classic Magnum tracks: 'Great Adventure', 'All Of My Life', 'Reborn' and 'So Cold The Night'. I HATE the track 'Changes' with a fierce and abiding passion as I reckon I'd hate any song that started off: 'Ooh, OohOohOoh' and don't even get me started on 'Foolish Heart' but it's STILL the best Magnum album after all, that's what the skip button's there for
