Los Pericos. Pampas Reggae. Play album. Get album. This album isn't a mix between reggae and Argentinean pampas sound as the title may suggest. Instead it's a reggae album full of danceable songs. There are a handful of instant hits like Runaway, Home Sweet Home and Párate y Mira that helped to strength their success all over Latin America. Recorded in Buenos Aires, all the songs were composed by the band except Mucha Experiencia. Extremely successful, with an international sound, this album won't disappoint hard die fans and newcomers. With the release of Pampas Reggae in 1994, tours across Latin America and the sales of their records continued to increase. Their sixth album, Yerbabuena, was released simultaneously in every country of Latin America, the United States and Spain. In 1996, the band performed Wanna Be Loved Desea ser Amado for the AIDS benefit album, Silencio Muerte: Red Hot Latin, produced by the Red Hot Organization with Buju Banton.
