But as I mentioned even if this album is full of very original and enticing sections it also shows in between lots of borrowed ideas from the dream team, which actually withhold what could have been a very good first full album. But then again this is a first release which promises, if it frees itself from personal attachments, a better output next time. I thought the first track-'Polaroids from Anywhere' showed promise. It was however-at least to me-unpolished-like a demo a band member might play to the rest of the band with a view to working up a finished track as a band. A lot of the rest of it was meandering and tentative which is probably the one thing you don't want as a listener or as a performing artist. I found it odd-especially since Jerome Froese was with Tangerine Dream for two decades and this project included Tangerine Dream alumni Johannes Schmoellling who was on the classic TD album Tangram back in 1980. I am baffled by this release.
