Thankfully Lone decided to not release another LemurianEcstasy & Friends instead, he worked up a mix of house gems and dubbed it Emerald Fantasy Tracks. That being said, it's a shame how one-dimensional this album actually is. Every single track falls in at around the same tempo, and they all do, more or less, the exact same thing. Made-with-Love
A very nice album that sounds like a time-travel back to the early nineties, somewhere between UK IDM (Black Dog, B12, Stasis, As One, InSync etc) and some contemplative Detroit tech deepness.
Lush, mellow, always melodic and never pointless, made with equipment sounding exactly like back in the days, this is the most accurate and meticulously crafted homage to these musical times that i have been likely to hear in the past decade, achieving the particular challenge to re-create like in a dream the spirit of then, eventhough it could be argued that the melodies are not as emotional and unforgettable as the 'originals' (ie Black Dog or B12's best moments) ; yet still very close imo.
Now we need the raves back to justify this as the perfect sunday comedown homechillin listening antidote :)
