I know this isn't really useful to anyone, but this album will always bring me back to walking around the Blue Dolphin caravan park in Filey (Yorkshire) with my dog Ralph while on holiday there with my missus and wee daughter. Also, important point, it was dark, only a few dim street lamps and the weak lighting seeping from other people's caravans. And it was quite cold, an east coast sea breeze coming in. For me, Dutch Tvashar Plumes perfectly soundtracked this random passage in my life. Not sure this is what Mr. Gamble had in mind when constructing it but anyway.....

What a nice entry late in the year! Diversions is good, no doubt, a truly interesting deconstruction of mid 90s jungle/dnb tropes, but I find it more suited for at-home listening like a good majority of the PAN releases.Dutch Tvashar Plumes is equally as experimental, but there are some real moments here that could work out quite well on an adventurous dancefloor. I imagine this going well with the equally outstanding new Terrence Dixon full length...It is better than this year's Actress full-length and a nice break from the endless supply of pounding, cavernous techno that begins to just blur together rather quickly.5/5

Couldn't agree with you more. Although the Actress album is still tops! I personally listen to Diversions more because of my commute but this release is really ace. There is a true differentiation with this album that requires repeated listens which is very hard to find in my opinion and which I keep going back to and enjoying more and more. Truly a great album though. Thanks for the Terrence Dixon reference as well. Was on the fence about that one.
