Breather Life is the fourth studio album released by rapper, Krazy, his first for a major label. It was released on August 7, 2001, on No Limit Records and Priority Records. It features production from Carlos Stephens and Donald XL Robertson. It was independently released through newly created sub-label Soulja Army Records. It peaked at No. 91 on the Top R&BHip-Hop Albums chart and No. 31 on the Top Independent Albums chart in Billboard magazine. In 2001, he created a new spin-off label, Soulja Army Records, and one of their first releases is Breather Life by newcomer Krazy. Krazy garnered some attention after making appearances on 504 Boyz's album, Goodfellas, and earned a reputation as yet another rapper deeply influenced by the late, great 2Pac. 2Pac's presence is felt throughout the album as Krazy either consciously or unconsciously mimics 2Pac's trademark lyrical flow.
