For Incommunicado, Kammerflimmer Kollektief brainchild Thomas Weber brought his experimental electronic music out of the bedroom to create a live album that brings together jazz, orchestral, and post-rock. Weber gave bandmates copies of Kollektief's debut, Mäander, and had them study the tone of the songs. The band then reinterpreted them live using guitar, strings, upright bass, and drums. They play a mixture of jazz, noise, electronic music, free jazz and experimental music.
