Bristol duo Kahn & Neek step up for FABRICLIVE 90 - a 74 minute refined grinding grime and dubstep mix that introduces 14 unreleased tracks exclusive to this release. Immersed in the city's soundsystem culture, Kahn & Neek first joined forces around 2006 throwing underground parties with friends playing grime, dubstep and reggae. After honing their craft as DJs and moving into production, Kahn & Neek have released - together and individually - on Warp Records, Tectonic, Deep Medi Musik, Punch Drunk, Hotline Recordings, Idle Hands and their own Bandulu label. Kahn & Neek - Fabriclive 90 Kahn and Neek had their breakthrough in 2012, when instrumental grime was making its comeback. Percy deserved its place at the table, but its reboot of classic eight-bar grime was on the trad side compared to some of the wilder ideas floating around. Their Bandulu label is vinyl-only, in homage to the scene's early days, and their Gorgon Sound project does to rootsy dub what Percy did to grime.
