Some Time in New York City is a part-studio, part-live double album by John Lennon & Yoko Ono, with the American rock band Elephant's Memory & Invisible Strings. Released in June 1972 in the US and in September 1972 in the UK on Apple Records, it is Lennon's third post-Beatles solo album. Like Lennon's previous solo albums, it was co-produced by Lennon, Ono and Phil Spector. But here Lennon and Yoko, accompanied by New York's Elephant's Memory, sing and scream freely against sexism in Woman Is the Nigger Of The World and Sisters, O Sisters. Vocals Yoko Ono.
