Reissue, probably from somewhere between 1964 and 1966, with NEW YORK USA on labels [see images]. Also, this reissue run appears in two label combinations: either with deep groove side 1 only or with deep groove on both sides. This merely refers to the era of the reissues, in which the Plastylite pressing plant was slowly phasing out the pressing machines that stamped the so called deep groove in the paper of the labels, it's not a label variation in the usual sense of the word, as both deep groove variations exist within the same reissue pressing run. For this reason, some pressings of that era (whether it was a reissue or an actual new album release) appear with deep groove on one side only or on both sides. Details sourced from the book "Blue Note Records, A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings" by Frederick Cohen from Jazz Record Center, New York.
Runout details in the deadwax contain the pretzel shaped "P" aka "ear" from the Plastylite pressing plant, the hand etched "9M", cat.nr. and the hand etched initials of RVG. When physically A/B compared to the actual 1st pressing from 1956, it is clear that the etchings are 100% identical, which means that this reissue was stamped from original metal work as used for the 1st pressing.
