Guitar Romantic is an amazingly raw and melodic debut, fully realized and original despite the obvious debt to the punk past. It is difficult to pinpoint just what it is about the band that helps overcome their idol worship. Maybe it is the love and authenticity that they pour into the worship, the raw production that smashes the guitars and bass into a whirling mess of tuneful noise, or the wonderfully tough but tender vocals. This is Jimmy Page's first electric guitar. It had a 33 headstock, a body shape resembling Fender Jazzmaster, and three single-coil pickups with individual switches for each of them. He used it all the way until the mid-'60s before getting his famous Telecaster from Jeff Beck. While you don't see them often these days, Danelectro guitars used to be huge back in the day. Page got his hands on a 3021 model and has used it for his session work, all the way to recording Led Zeppelin songs on it. The guitar also became known for its use in the live version of Kashmir. This particular guitar was made in 1965, the year that the model was introduced
