The Jets were formed in 1978 when Tony Cotton joined older brothers Bob and Ray, who had previously been gigging in a 4-piece. The trio's talent was quickly recognized and they were soon gigging the national Rock 'n' Roll scene, being picked up by Soho Records. This deal spawned two singles Rockabilly BabyJames Dean followed by Sleep Rock 'n' RollHey Baby - both highly collectable today. The album 100 Cotton also made the national Top 30, but chartwise The Jets had now peaked. Further attempts to crack the charts failed, and lacked the Rock 'n' Roll drive of their earlier releases.
