Formed in Aberdeen in 1983, the band were initially a quartet of Jim Shepherd guitarvocals, Adam Sanderson vocalsguitar, Martin Keenabass guitar, and Tom Reid drumsvocals. After sending a demo tape to Melody Maker, the band were recruited by Alan McGee to record for the fledgling Creation label.
