Metropolis: Suite I is the debut EP by Janelle Monae and is the prelude to her first studio album The Archandroid. This EP consists of Suite 1 or part 1 of a 7-Suite series. The series is inspired by Fritz Lang-directed German film Metropolis. Suite 1 follows the story of a Cindi Mayweather, who is an android and falls in love with a human, in a futuristic dystopian society.
