But they also find their way to romance the speedy Every Everything buries a true love song underneath its hard-charging guitars, and the band give way to a slightly more toned-down gentleness on Green Eyes, a treatise on beauty. On paper, it might sound as if Hüsker Dü have watered down their hardcore ideals, but it doesn't play that way.
