Gentleman Reg's first album for the Arts and Crafts label owned by the Broken Social Scene collective is a collection of eight songs previously released on his two earlier albums, 2002's MAKE ME PRETTY and 2004's DARBY AND JOAN, plus one unheard song recorded during the sessions for the latter. As an introduction to a gifted and distinctive talent imagine a more traditionally camp version of Antony and the Johnsons, LITTLE BUILDINGS is without fault. Highlights include It's Not Safe, Bundle, and You're So Alone. Little Buildings is a compilation album by Gentleman Reg, released on November 11, 2008. His first release for the Arts & Crafts record label, it compiles several tracks from his earlier albums on Three Gut Records, as well as one unreleased new song, Something to Live For. The album is intended principally for the American market, where his earlier albums were not widely distributed. His fourth studio album, Jet Black, followed in February 2009 on Arts & Crafts.
