Fun fact:
This release was originally going to be called the 'Engeene EP'. Different artwork and labels were created but for some reason it was changed to 'Technetium EP'.

I must say that I can see where the previous two reviews are coming from. I do, however, disagree with them.

Future Engineers is all about creating an atmospheric image in your mind while listening, and this EP does that with aplomb. "Spyglass" is a stunning piece of minimal spacy funk; the title track is a sparkling slice of "get up and dance". But the real sparkler here is Source Code, which can stand with the likes of tracks like Echo Location and Merge, if you ask me.

Worth it, if only to complete your GLO EP collection; but these are some great songs.

Totally Agreed With Veers. Source Code saves it from Total Failure. And at That source Code isn't anything special.

One of the weakest releases from the great duo, showing very unusual lack of inspiration.
In my opinion, only SOURCE CODE saves it from total failure, although best suitable for mix than home-listening.
The trademark bass and atmospheric loops are there but not that special quality vibe running through tracks like MERGE, a sublime one, much of the same period or a bit earlier.
Here, all is reduced to simplistic figures, repeated again & again.
The other tracks are just too poor and cartoonish to be noticed.
