The name may be suspect, but Future Brown is not a person but a collective consisting of four producers, operating out of the United States (Los Angeles and New York). On their debut album, which appears in the British Warp Records, they work together with a diverse group of rappers and MC's, coming from different styles. What the producers (Fatima Al Qadiri, Asma Maroof, Daniel Pineda and J-Cush) have in common is that they operate in trendy, difficult to define or to delimit genres, which for lack of better sometimes than but under the name ' bass music ' are supported. In the case of Future Brown means that many heavy (sub) basses and influences from hip hop, dubstep and electronica. Depending on the assisting mc go the numbers of stair (Killing Zone) to Dancehall (Speng), reggaeton (Vernáculo) or grime (Asbestos), with much use of Autotune and other effects on the vocals. The latter is what a pity, because the productions sound energetic, very diverse and very good.

I agree that the vocal effects are problematic in the sense that those of the male singers, as well as those on "Vernáculo", seem detrimental to the production leaning towards the intriguing.
