Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 27 January 1756 5 December 1791, baptised as Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period. Born in Salzburg, in the Holy Roman Empire, Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty. At 17, Mozart was engaged as a musician at the Salzburg court but grew restless and travelled in. When Mozart was five he had composed his first minuet. At the age of six, his dad took him and his sister on a concert tour to Munich and Vienna. Mozart was taken on many other tours throughout France, England and Italy were he played for Ambassadors and nobles. When Mozart was Nine he composed a full symphony and when he turned fourteen he had finished writing his first opera called the Mitridate, Re di Ponto. As a teenager Mozart got a job at the Court of Prince Archbishops of Salzburg because his dad wanted him to earn money in other ways then to relay on music alone. In 1767 Mo.
