The Philadelphia Sound!

Forget about Disco. Forget about Northern Soul. This is the real deal.
Standing ovation for the fabulous Richard Rome and the super-talented Bunny sigler. What a masterpiece!
Ok, I'm being emotional, but this has to be the greatest track ever. As much as I like Disco, that early Philly sound brings that edge, you know. That little something extra. It's difficult to explain. I feel it is the story told by the arrangements. The last 3 minutes of this song are really down-tempo, but yet they keep on slowing down like forever.
The track itself is so uplifting, and it's also a ballad. What a contrast and when you listen you wouldn't even notice.
The nasal sound of the unknown Frankie is so expressive, you will shiver. He just makes this song complete.
And what about the bass tenor. The first time I heard the song, I thought it was a skipping record. In the chorus there's this really low bass tenor voice, which just makes the whole contrast theme more lively.

Mister Sigler, you have done great things. And often the most obscure ones, are the best. I thank you, and I thank the person for selling me this rarity. Otherwise I would have passed me by, and that would be a shame.
