The Four Tops Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album by the Four Tops, released in August 1967. It peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard albums chart in the United States, remaining on the chart for 73 weeks, and is the first Motown album to reach No. 1 in Britain. Founded in Detroit, Michigan as The Four Aims, lead singer Levi Stubbs and group mates Abdul Duke Fakir, Renaldo Obie Benson, and Lawrence Payton remained together for over four decades, finally forced to endure a lineup change when Payton died in 1997.
