Notes

Commonly known as "Trance Nation 2002"

1-11: This track is listed on the outer slipcase as "Set Me Free (Flip 'N' Fill Mix)" with "Remix - Flip & Fill" credited underneath. In fact this track is (and should say) "Set You Free (Flip 'N' Fill Remix)" (see https://www.localhost/N-Trance-Set-You-Free/release/137543 by way of example). If you refer to some other versions of this same track (by N-Trance) you will notice there are other listed that say "Me" instead of "You". Given that the vast majority say "You", presumably those with "Me" are all misprinted.
2-01: Incorrectly credits Remix & Additional Production to Fatboy Slim.
2-14: Incorrectly credits Additional Production & Remix to Andre Tannenberger (ATB).

Ferry Corsten trance Nation. Trance Nation, Vol. Yet even when considering these many problems, Trance Nation does fare better than many of Ministry of Sound's other compilations that often wander aimlessly from one genre to the next in their mission to capture all the biggest club hits. Furthermore, no album will give naive newcomers a better taste of commercialized progressive trance anthems than this loaded collection. ferry corsten trance ministry of sound 1999 trance nation. Ministry of Sound released a series of Trance Nation albums, to compete with the Euphoria series. This series was pretty good, but like the Euphoria series went downhill in later years. It was mixed by Ferry Corsten, who at the time was better known in the UK as System F and for his production, rather than DJing. chushiciyu4mo ago. Feralmadcat2y ago. loved this album so many great classics but for me the first 3 euphoria's were the best albums ever. Defense Bytes5y ago. Commonly known as Trance Nation 2002. I've always had a sneaking suspicion Ferry chose the track order to show he wasn't really in control of what was on this album. Hence you have the super-commercial Flip & Fill being followed by an Oliver Klein remix of James Holden, and Dee Dee being followed by a Praha track. It feels like a middle finger to Ministry of Sound to mix some decent prog house over the commercial stuff.

The so called 'Death' of the trance nation series. TN 2001 left alot of people out in the cold feeling they had been let down by the commercialism and popularity of trance, and therefore any quality trance was forgotten, and replaced by cheesy trance. CD1 says it all, horrible chart topping pop from acts like PPK and *shudder* Ian Van Dahl. ugh.however this albums one saving grace is CD2, filled with some fantastic progressive trance and house. Buy only for CD2

The inclusion of Kelly Llorena, N Trance and Ian Van Dahl is very questionable indeed, otherwise the rest of the tracklist looks fine.

Wow, you're quite right about disc 1. What surprises me most is that Ferry Corsten agreed to put his name to this. Perhaps he was under contract to do a certain amount of Trance Nation compilations from MOS? He must have been gutted when presented with the tracks he had to include, half of CD1 could have been on an AATW Clubland compilation for a start.
