Info

It was released on 12 October 2009 by Kitchenware Records. The band had said the material would have a more raw and anthemic sound compared to their previous work. The first single from the album was Papillon. The second single was You Don't Know Love, released on 25 January of the following year. The third single, Eat Raw Meat Blood Drool, was released on 24 May. The album also features a bonus extended. Album number three from the popular UK post-punk acolytes finds them moving to a more synth-based sound to dreary effect. Thanks to Flood's production, In This Light and on This Evening is still arena-aspiring in a early-1980s Depeche Mode sort of way, despite the emphasis on relatively primitive electronics. But with Tom Smith out front, it's like an early-80s Depeche Mode where Master and Servant is a turgid dirge about oppressive shadow governments and the hopes they squash. While we're on the subject of servitude, no matter what goes on behind him, every song is at the mercy of Smith. 9 tracks 42:06. Do you know any background info about this album Start the wiki. I swear to god, in this light and on this evening, London's become, the most beautiful thing I've seen. I swear to god, I heard the earth inhale, Moments before it spat its rain down on me. Submit Corrections. Writers: Edward Lay, Thomas Smith, Christopher Urbanowicz, Russe. Smith's Curtis-like tones still boom out authoritatively, and the ominous intensity of old is a constant presence. The album also features a bonus extended play of five songs, called Cuttings II. In This Light and on This Evening Q&A. Producers Ben Hillier & Flood. Writers Chris Urbanowicz, Edward Lay, Russell Leetch & 1 more. Remember when Tonight: Franz Ferdinand opener Ulysses began with a slinky bass line before dramatically launching into its electronica Well, the opening title track here shows no such subtlety, immediately giving away its intentions. Album 2009 14 Songs. 2009 Play It Again Sam. The Weight of Your Love. IN DREAM Deluxe Version. An End Has a Start. Lesen Sie Rezensionen und informieren Sie sich über beteiligte Personen
