Just love this album! In some ways the music reminds me of what it may sound like aboard a spaceship - in the controlroom...Lots of lights flashing, sounds bleeping and so on. When I listen carefully, I am definetely taken on some sort of space trip, listening to Alphabet Flasher. Taylor Dupree is just excellent, when it comes to techno-ambient and so is Dietrich Schoenemann. I would tend to disagree a little with 12at9, in that in my opinion, the overall feel of the music is quite ambient, but of course, also very rhythmic. A lot of the tracks are comparable to the (excellent) stuff that has been put out by the Instinct Ambient label in the nineties! Again - totally blissed out, when listening to this album!!!

I would say this is not so much ambient or abstract, but rather minimal melodic IDM. This release is readily accessible to any listener, with pleasing melodies and distinct percussive elements. Enjoyable tracks while working online, etc.
