The band had risen from the ashes of post-record company fallout, legal issues and personal tragedy with a successful crowdfunding campaign. Within mere hours of announcing their album, the band reached their fundraising target and eventually raised 11 times the goal. The results of the campaign put to rest the bands self-doubt and illustrated the die-hard emotional connection they had made with their fans.
