Info
Adultery is a concept album by Dog Fashion Disco, their sixth album, released in 2006, and last album to be released by the band before their dissolution in 2007. The album loosely follows the story of a private detective. After the band's deal with Artemis ended, drummer Mike Ollie Oliver left the band. This left Smith and Stepp to write most of the album on their own without a drummer. By chance, they asked former member John Ensminger to show up to drum for them Ensminger then became the drummer. DOG FASHION DISCO hits pay dirt on Adultery, a concept album that continues to showcase the band's lunatic genre blend of strangely accessible hard rock, metal, punk, jazz, ska you name it and all-around musical boundary-pushing. But first, the concept: Adultery is about a seemingly normal guy in his mid-30s, burdened with a wife, kids, and a safe corporate job. Songs in album Dog Fashion Disco - Adultery 2006. Adultery is a 13 song showcase of Smith's ability to convey both disgust and wonder to deny us that ability to classify music. The number of styles of music that this album covers is mind-boggling trying to identify all of them would be a waste of time. Suffice to say that the band makes songs that confuse the listener, but also provide some worthy head-banging material and keep the audience entertained. Album 2006 13 Songs. 2006 Rotten Records Inc.
