The track itself "Silo" is really good. It's a really good neurofunk amen smasher, full of energy and excitement. However, after this record has been stored for 19 years, the lack of white inner sleeve and the recycled paper outer sleeve has left its mark... inside the grooves. The record now sounds like a dubplate that has been shat on by donald trumps russian hookers. I'm going to have to buy my own damn white inner sleeves and give this record the wood glue treatment to remove the wood pulp from the grooves. Good job you cheap skate. I would have given this record 4 stars but because of the lack of white inner sleeve and the damage this caused the record, it's gets one star. After seeing this I'm going to have to make sure all of my records have white paper inner sleeves so this doesn't happen anymore.

This release really put the word "drum" in drum and bass. "Ride" has a very straightforward and formulaic 2-step break, while "Silo" occasionally throws in a chopped-up breakbeat sample for good measure.
