DICTATED - голландская death metal группа, образованная в 2006 году двумя гитаристками - Соней Шуринга и Джессикой Оттен. После выхода демки "Suppressing All Who Refuse" и дебютника "Summary of Retribution" , выпущенного своими силами, группу заметил лейбл Metal Blade Records и предложил контракт на выход нового альбома.

"The Deceived" - второй полноформатный альбом голландцев, запись, сведение и мастеринг которого проходили на Soundlodge Studios под надзором Йорга Укена, работавшего с альбомами DEW-SCENTED и GOD DETHRONED. Не обошлось и без гостей на альбоме - Jason Keyser (ORIGIN) прорычал на "The Basher", а Tom Whitty (DYSCARNATE) отметился на "Rail of Death".
