Between Waves is the fourth studio album by Portuguese poprock singer David Fonseca. It was released in Portugal in November, 2nd, 2009. David Fonseca wrote all the songs and played or arranged most of the instruments. The first single, A Cry 4 Love, was available online more than a month before the actual album. But Fonseca himself goes for an Elvis impersonation on Between Waves, although he actually sounds more like a Chris Isaak who became a seaside gigolo swooning dames in a open-air karaoke bar - not because his voice is lacking strength quite the opposite, in fact, but because the vocal lines are brimming with saccharine and come across as sleazy.
