Damn the Machine is the self-titled debut studio album by heavy metal band Damn the Machine, released on June 8, 1993 through A&M Records. It features former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland, and remains the band's only release. In 2005, Damn the Machine was ranked number 64 in Rock Hard magazine's book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time. All tracks are written by Damn the Machine. Damn the Machine was a short-lived progressive metal band founded by ex-Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland. After leaving Megadeth in 1987, guitarist Chris Poland recorded a solo album, Return to Metalopolis, in 1990. Three years later, he resurfaced with the group Damn the Machine DTM, which included his brother Mark on drums, Dave Clemmons on vocalsguitar, and David Randi on bass. While the group were indeed heavy, their sound was slightly more progressive than Poland's previous band and solo work. Damn The Machine.
