Twin House is an album by American guitarist Larry Coryell and Belgian guitarist Philip Catherine that was released by Atlantic Records in 1977. The duo recorded a second album, Splendid, in 1978. Of the two, Catherine's sound is more rooted in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and tends to be more introspective. Coryell is his usual incorrigible self. However, I like the song selection better on this album over TH. Splendid is also better because the two mellow songs featuring Coryell on acoustic & Catherine doing beautiful, melodic electric guitar work adds a different flavor to the album. And the song with 2 acoustic guitars and one piano is also a wonderful addition that adds a pleasing texture to the overall album.
