In Concert, Zürich, October 28, 1979, is a jazz album by Chick Corea and Gary Burton. It features live versions of songs that the duo played on the albums Crystal Silence and Duet. In Concert was recorded live, as the title suggests, and released in 1980 as a double LP set. The original release contains 10 tracks with a total length of 79:59. The album was subsequently reissued on a single CD and in the process shortened to 8 tracks for a length of 61:16. During Chick Corea's freelance period after Return to Forever broke up and before he formed his Elektric Band, the pianist collaborated with many of his favorite musicians. This two-LP set contains eight duets with vibraphonist Gary Burton highlighted by Senor Mouse, Bud Powell and a remake of Crystal Silence along with one solo performance apiece by the two masterful musicians.
