Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the new wave rock band the Cars. It was released in October 1985 on Elektra Records. Tonight She Comes, a previously unreleased song, and a remix of I'm Not the One were issued as singles to support this greatest hits package. The album was a commercial success, going six-times platinum. All tracks are written by Ric Ocasek. Ric Ocasek lead vocals, backing vocals on tracks 1, 6 and 10, rhythm guitar. Complete Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the new wave band the Cars, released in 2002 by Elektra Records and Rhino Records, and contains 20 singles in chronological order of their original release. Sales of the album reignited following the passing of Ric Ocasek in September 2019. All tracks are written by Ric Ocasek, except where noted. Elliot Easton lead guitar, backing vocals.
