Recorded in Sean's half of a shotgun on Banks Street in Mid-City, New Orleans, most likely in late 2010. Originally released online via Chinquapin Records RIP and Community Records in May 2011. In early 2012, The Weight was released on cassette via Community Records ltd. to 75 copies and was bw demos of songs that would later appear on Feathering a Nest.
