Tobacco Road - Brother Jack McDuff. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Do It Now is a 1967 album by organist Brother Jack McDuff which was his third release on the Atlantic label. All compositions by Jack McDuff except as indicated. Snap Back Jack - 4:50. Mush Melon - 4:44. The four albums Brother Jack McDuff released on Atlantic between 1966 and 1968 were in a more purely R&B vein than the soul-jazz the organist played on his earlier work for Prestige. While the Atlantic dates had an eye on success in pop markets, they still offer jazz-organ fans plenty of McDuff's agile, driving sound. Brother Jack McDuff: все альбомы, включая Screamin' , Rhino Hi-Five: Brother Jack McDuff , Who Knows What Tomorrow's Gonna Bring и другие. Альбом 1966 Песен: 9. Complete your Brother Jack McDuff collection. There was a lot of change in the air in 1967 when Jack McDuff released Do it Now , and that is reflected on many of the tracks on this fine soul jazz disc. In 67 James Brown was still developing the new funk sound, he had already hit us with the semi-funk of I Feel Good , but had not quite hit the pure funk heights of I Got the Feelin and Say it Loud. 1 Reception. no matter what format, the tunes are given fantastically funked-up treatments that sound surprisingly natural.
