I spoke with the driver about who was playing. I told him it reminded me of Abdullah Ibrahim. Bobby Timmons is an underrated pianist, but I have always liked him since his early recordings made before he became identified with soul jazz. Here he is heard with the superb rhytm section of Sam Jones and Jimmy Cobb in a well chosen programme of his own hits and standards. Very pleasant listening
