This is a collection of studio outtakes and alternates from the albums Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde recorded January 15, 1965 to January 21, 1966.

Tracks 4, 8, 13 & 15 are stereo - all remaining tracks are mono.

This is a repress of the 1994 original issue (lighter green on the outside but inside artwork is darker looking than the original pressings were) this one is also missing from the Matrix round-out area the "-631-" & has a thinner "Spank" logo on the disc .

In most cases you can hear why these were rejected for inclusion on his '65-66 albums the song is unfinished, or the arrangement too unpolished. But there are very good, substantially different alternate takes here: a beautiful acoustic Love Minus ZeroNo Limit, and a Visions of Johanna with ghostly organ, a more melodic, gentle version of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue, a scarifying solo piano rendition of She's Your Lover Now.
