Although it isn't the most well rounded La Sonnambula out there, this 1962 studio recording should still be on your list if you're a fan of Bellini or of Joan Sutherland. Sutherland has rarely sung better on record. Her coloratura and sense of bel canto style are absolutely perfect, and her closing Ah Non giunge puts her endless high notes and easy trills on parade.
