There is little here that tackles anything of substance, but Biggs instinctively understood his audience and continually delivered well-produced pop songs, adding just enough Jamaican DNA to keep them fresh and bright. His high-pitched vocals recall Curtis Mayfield at times, while the heavy echo and intelligent use of string arrangements suggest John Holt, or maybe a kind of Jimmy Cliff-lite, but in the end, Biggs resembles no one else on the reggae scene.
