April Fools are an independent band based in Toulouse (France) who offer an unusual line-up featuring two bass players, a drummer and a vocalist.
Mainly influenced by Post Punk music from Joy Division, through Killing Joke to The Chameleons, with very close connections to the New Wave music movement inspired by the early songs of Simple Minds. April Fools have their feet firmly rooted in the 80's.

April Fools have recently recorded a 6 track CD with Yves Altana, a talented producer based in Manchester who has worked with Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order), Mike Joyce (The Smiths), Magazine and Mark Burgess (The Chameleons) amongst others

Everybody Talks is the lead single from the second studio album, Picture Show, by American rock band Neon Trees. It soon became a sleeper hit. The song made it to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, making this song their highest charting single to date as well as their first Top 10 hit. The song was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, engineered and mixed by Billy Bush, and mastered by Joe LaPorta. April fools. Music , CD EP Post Punk. This mini-album contains six songs. The title track that opens the CD is a powerful and melodic, and rightly chosen as the first single. The same thing can be said about Killing Joy. Some songs remind me a bit of Franz Ferdinand or the early sound of Killing Joke, although it always remains quite melodic. The bass sometimes gives the songs real power, like in In My Way To Die and John Was Alone. The album ends with a rather slow and dark song: The Girl Who Fades Away, a track that let us relive the days of the good old Interpol. An album that has been in my CD player for a while
