World Gone Strange is a 1991 solo album by Andy Summers. It was his first solo album which did not involve David Hentschel and the last one recorded for the jazz fusion label Private Music. The title track presents a distinct descending pattern and features a rare vocal performance by Summers himself. Summers also decided to use one of his mixed media compositions for the cover. It is an absolute crying shame that Andy Summers's late 1980s-early 1990s albums on the Private Music label are almost forgotten today.
