I had the same issues with my copy. They were trying to hook us up by putting the LP inside the gatefold and not have seam splits. This caused alot of movement, and some nasty looking marks. But it still plays well. This is just an FYI if youre getting the vinyl. I saw these guys last night at the Warfield in SF (first US show apparently) and was really impressed. Thrash metal mixed with New Zealand/Maori...... didnt ever expect that.

When haka or a maori war chant is being performed, the louder the better. They use their bodies as percussion. Though this is not the first attempt to mix metal with maori, its surely the best so far. I'm interested to see what these guys will do next.

Love this album, but mine came (sealed, black vinyl) looking like Side A had been attacked with a glue gun and a kitchen knife. It's not the fault of the distributor - looks like it will have happened earlier in the production process. Amazingly it plays without skipping, but there is a *lot* of surface noise - something that rarely bothers me/I hardly every notice. Either way, a cracking debut LP from such a young band. Great to have a bonus 45 with it too.
