Wildheart is the third studio album by American R&B singer and songwriter Miguel. It was released on June 29, 2015, by RCA Records and ByStorm Entertainment. The album was produced by Miguel with Benny Cassette, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, and Salaam Remi, among others. Certain songs found him collaborating with fellow singer Lenny Kravitz and rapper Kurupt. The music departed further from Miguel's R&B roots with rock styles such as psychedelic and new wave, as well as lyrical themes that explore. Wildheart finds the singer delivering his most intimate, vulnerable album to date. Hes no longer trying to establish himself as a singer, producer, artist, lover or friend that's evident while he's being introspective and carnal. Now that you know who he is, he wants you to understand his artistry - between the sheets, on stage or naked in front of the lens of a camera. He's like a bit of Prince, Marvin Gaye, Freddy Mercury and Jimi Hendrix all rolled into one and his rockstar bedroom hymns are quite potent.
